Summary

Sudoku is a puzzle game that works offline. When you are online, the app connects to our servers at vinegar-poison.com to register your device, sync puzzles, and submit completed-game statistics. We do not sell your data.

Information we collect

Stored locally on your device

  • Game progress (saved games, settings)
  • A randomly generated device client ID and auth token (in user://player.cfg)

No account or login is required.

How we use data

  • Register an anonymous player identity so puzzle sync and solution submission work
  • Associate completed puzzles and solve statistics with that identity
  • Improve puzzle and gameplay features

Information we share

We do not sell user data. Data is transmitted to our own backend (vinegar-poison.com) over HTTPS. We do not share data with third-party advertisers or analytics SDKs.

Permissions

Android

The app requests the INTERNET permission so it can reach our servers. This is granted at install time and does not show a runtime permission dialog. No location, camera, contacts, or storage permissions are requested for network features.

iOS

No special entitlements are required. Outbound HTTPS connections use standard iOS networking.

Data retention and deletion

Server-side data is retained to support leaderboards and game features. To request deletion of server-side data associated with your device, contact us (see Contact below) and include your player ID (pid) if available from app support.

Local game data can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Security

Data sent to our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS).

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It is suitable for general audiences. Anonymous gameplay statistics may still be submitted when a puzzle is completed online.

Offline use

The game is fully playable offline. Network requests are best-effort; failed requests do not block gameplay.

Changes

We will update this policy and the Play Store / App Store privacy disclosures before material changes to data collection.
